R Groups
What are R Groups?
R Groups are spiritual direction groups that consist of 3-5 people that are committed to meeting together monthly for 9-12 months and helping one another listen and respond to the Holy Spirit in their lives. These groups embody the values of HTE: Reflection, Recognition, and Revitalization.
The Three R’s of HTE:
Reflection: we allow space for the Holy Spirit to speak.
Recognition: we recognize God and His work all around us.
Revitalization: we are revitalized by the Holy Spirit as we are being made into the image of God.

Entrusting your story and journey with God to a listening companion in the active, guiding presence of the Holy Spirit is the heart of spiritual direction. This might involve a life transition, rocky season, or new awakening. I have five years experience as a spiritual director and work with men and women of all ages.

Through the encouragement of a spiritual director, I learned the necessity of silence and solitude with God to sustain me as an overwhelmed executive director of a nonprofit. Now I delight in creating a safe space for individuals to experience God and to become their true selves Christ. In addition to spiritual direction training through the Anglican Diocese of New England, I completed a Transforming Community experience through the Transforming Center and am a trained facilitator for the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises.

My monthly session with Spiritual Directees is a big blessing in my life, I am humbled to sit with them before the Lord and witness His love being poured out. Watching and praying. Noticing and asking questions. I have completed Spiritual Direction training through Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and through the Sustainable Faith School of Spiritual Direction. I have focused my attention on working with women who are seeking direction.
