Drew and Kaitlynn Smith live here in Edmonds and have been worshipping at HTE with their two children, Aletheia and Emmaus, since December of 2025. Before arriving at Holy Trinity, Drew was privileged to spend several years in full-time youth ministry and is currently preparing to serve God’s Kingdom in a new capacity.

Though he was raised in the church, Drew’s heart was far from the Lord for most of his youth. During his time at Hillsdale College, God worked on Drew’s heart through the witness of Christian friends and mentors who saw his life radically transformed. His eyes were opened to see the great beauty of the Lord Jesus. By God’s Grace he now testifies, “One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.” From that point on Drew has been eager to bring the life-changing teachings of Scripture to every person who is lost as he once was.

Now, Drew has been given an opportunity to fulfill this calling as a local missionary in partnership with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He will be working daily to teach God’s Word, build relationships, and pray with students at our schools in Snohomish and King counties. Through weekly school clubs, special events, personal mentoring, and regular collaboration with school sports teams, Drew’s objective is to make disciples of Christ and connect each of them with a local church body. With the Lord's help, we will see new young people in our community brought into the Kingdom every week through this work! Currently, Drew is working to garner the necessary financial support to launch and sustain this mission.

Our Lord said in Luke 10:2, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” If you hope to see Drew sent out, please consider supporting the Smith family financially and through prayer!
